I painted this painting because I so much loved the variation of turquoise colors. The model was a tiny image I had stumbled across on the internet, not showing the water nor the shadows to the far left. This was my first attempt working with shadows and three dimensions... let's just say that I have learned a lot by working on this! A bit of a challenge was the metal net above the door. This painting has thoroughly been a learning-by-doing proces. |
